- The Historic Callaway County Courthouse and the Callaway County Commission office will be closed all day Thursday, July 04, 2024, and Friday, July 05, 2024, in observance of Independence Day. The Historic Callaway County Courthouse and the Commission office will reopen at 8:00 a.m. on Monday, July 08, 2024. The Commission’s regular business hours are Monday – Friday 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., and we close for lunch from 12:00 p.m. until 12:30 p.m.

- December 07, 2023 – Now on this day, the Callaway County Commission does hereby adopt the proposed change in LAGERS benefits in accordance with Section 105.675 RSMo to create a Public Safety LAGERS department to include correction staff and 911 staff for early retirement. - May 2023 – The Circuit Clerk, Prosecuting Attorney, and court system have moved to 5 East 2nd Street, Fulton, MO 65251 (The big building by the roundabout across from Memorial Park) all of the other county offices that were located in the old courthouse are still located in the old courthouse at 10 East 5th Street, Fulton, MO 65251. If you have any questions for any county office, please check the contact page and contact that office.
- 04/13/2023 – Due to the overwhelming response to the meeting scheduled for 4/13/2023 at 1:00 p.m., the meeting has been canceled and will be rescheduled for 04/20/2023 at 1:30 p.m.
- On Wednesday, July 27, 2022, The Callaway County Commission will attend one or two meetings hosted by Invenergy Transmission. Invenergy Transmission will hold two public meetings regarding the Grain Belt Express, at the John C. Harris Building, 350 Sycamore Street, Fulton, MO 65251. The first meeting will be from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. and the second meeting will be from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. The public meetings will be open house format and attendees can come and go as they please during meeting hours. No formal presentation will be given. For those unable to attend in person, there is a self-paced Virtual Open House that is accessible on the Invenergy website https://invenergy.com/ anytime between July 25 and August 5, 2022.
