Callaway County has not adopted planning or zoning. The following persons may be contacted directly regarding new construction in Callaway County:

No occupancy permits or building permits are required in unincorporated areas of Callaway County.
Incorporated areas of Callaway County that may have planning and zoning regulations, building permits, and/or occupancy permits are the cities and villages of: Fulton, Holts Summit, Lake Mykee, New Bloomfield, Mokane, Kingdom City, and Auxvasse.
Callaway County requires a Utility Right-of-Way permit by those who plan to cross a county road with lines (water, phone, electrical, et.), please contact Paul Winkelmann, Highway Administrator for this permit.
